About AI-SSE

The 1st International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Solutions for the Environment (AI-SSE) is scientifically sponsored and led by Tikrit University, Iraq, in collaboration with Amity University, UAE. As environmental pressures continue to grow, including climate change, resource depletion, pollution, and ecosystem degradation, advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, sustainable materials and solutions are becoming essential tools for conservation of the environment. AI-SSE provides a global platform for presenting cutting-edge research, sharing innovative ideas, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to protect and improve our environment.

The conference focuses on integrating AI and sustainability with environmental science and engineering.

The main theme of AI-SSE 2026 is “Smart and Green Technologies for Sustainable Environment.

Submissions

1. Submission

All articles must be submitted before October 15th, 2026, via EDAS (the link will be activated soon)

2. Language

English is the official language of the conference, and all submissions must be written in English.

3. Affiliations and names

All articles must include the institutional email of the corresponding authors and the affiliations of all authors. The article's content must meet the publisher's requirements (to be released later), which can be accessed by clicking here.

4. Originality

Submissions to AI-SSE must be original. Papers must not have been previously published or accepted for publication in any journal, conference proceedings, or presented at another conference. In addition, submissions must not be under consideration for publication or presentation elsewhere at the time of submission.

5. Templates

All submissions must be prepared using the official conference template and submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) and Adobe PDF formats. Files submitted in other formats or those that do not follow the required template will not be considered for review.

The article must not exceed ten A4 pages.

6. References

  • Numbered referencing style is recommended.

  • A maximum of 20 references is allowed per article.

  • Authors should avoid self-citation. Articles in which self-citations exceed 3% of the total references will be rejected without review.

Registration information

Cancellation and Refund Policy


All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to the Conference Secretary. A cancellation will only be considered valid once written confirmation has been issued by the Conference Secretary.

Refunds will be processed according to the following schedule:

  • 8 weeks or more prior to the conference: 75% of the registration fee will be refunded.

  • 4 weeks prior to the conference: 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.

  • Less than 4 weeks prior to the conference: No refund will be issued.

Please note that all approved refunds will be processed after the conference.

The Organising Committee reserves the right to modify the conference dates, venue, or format if circumstances beyond its control (force majeure) make it necessary.
